Pedal through the beautiful Sandestin scenery on a family bicycle outing. Babe’s Tunnel allows cyclists to safely explore activities from the beach to bayside. Bicycles are available at the Market Shops at Sandestin for a nominal fee.

The Baytowne Marina at Sandestin® has 98 slips, complete with all utilities, and can accommodate vessels up to 100 feet. Powerboats for fishing and cruising are available for rental.

The Emerald Coast provides an exciting fishing experience for serious anglers and beginners alike. Twenty species of edible game fish are always in seasonal runs. Destin’s saltwater fishing is internationally recognized; it’s no surprise that “The World’s Largest Fishing Village” is also known as the “Billfish Capital of the World.”
Charter boats are available for half-day, all-day and overnight trips. Also specializing in deep-sea bottom fishing is Destin’s fleet of party boats, with passenger capacities ranging from 25 to 105. All-day party boats leave the docks at approximately 7 a.m. and return to port at 5 p.m. Half-day party boats depart at 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. Regular tackle, bait and ice are furnished, and many party boats offer galley service for the fisherman’s convenience. Individual trip tickets are available, and party boats may also be chartered for group fishing.
Fishermen need not head too far to catch largemouth bass. Sandestin’s many stocked ponds offer an enjoyable fishing experience. Sandestin has a catch-and-release program. At the Baytowne Marina, fishermen can rent a boat or cast a line off the main dock for speckled trout, redfish and other Bay catches.

Spend the perfect afternoon sailing along Northwest Florida’s Gulf Coast or on the Choctawhatchee Bay. Charter sailboats are available in all sizes and can be reserved for quick one-hour getaway or for an all-day excursion. Picnic baskets are also available for the unforgettable trip.

The Emerald Coast’s emerald-green water provides the perfect conditions for diving and snorkeling. The numerous natural and artificial reefs throughout the area are ideal for spear-fishing, catching lobster, or simply taking in the sights. Courses and equipment are available from local dive shops.
